My work is mainly influenced by the wild coast of North Norfolk and Gran Canaria, showing the diverse landscapes or unobserved details within. Working from sculptural backgrounds of acrylic textures, transparent colour, gels and deep resin glazes are layered, to reflect and refract light and colour from different angles. This enables the viewer to see through the process to enhance the illusion_of_being_there moving through the landscape.
